“ I’ve been visiting this beautiful, cozy, wonderful cafe since at least 2010. It was so delightful to discover it with a friend and be able to walk through the beautiful neighborhood to get to it. They had by far, they best chocolate croissants and coffee. I spent hours here, eating crepes and coffee, sitting outside with the bees, trees and gardens. It was my oasis from the bustling city. It is still one of the classiest, most unique, family, neighborhood cafe’s around. They have worked hard to keep it true to its core and vision, full of unique products from around the world and offering the best possible food. It’s still incredibly eclectic and cute and invites some of the coolest, most artistic people for a visit. Unfortunately as Vancouver bloats beyond its capacity to hold anymore people and it’s at the tip of the iceberg of becoming some cold, foreign, sterile city, this place is almost too busy for me now! The line ups are endless and it doesn’t feel like a safe place to hang out for long. There’s a tipping point for everything and Vancouver has passed it with no end in sight by its greedy developer style government and this warm little cafe has been discovered. I have so many photos from over the years but of course I can’t find them now. ”
